Hi, and welcome! In this week’s episode, I’ll be talking about letting go of the past and restoring peace within. I am your host and practicing metaphysical spiritualist, and today we will be talking about releasing our old pasts and/or path and moving forward towards new opportunities.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve lived nearly 6 decades of life and have experienced many ups and downs, twists and turns. Through all of these experiences, I have learned valuable lessons that have helped me many times where I also learn how to grow my roots and become the person I am today.

However, there have been times where I have felt very stuck in the past, and I really struggled to move forward. I’ve also experienced some traumatic events in my life and had a hard time forgiving people and myself. And I had to do a lot of inner child work on myself.

And it is a struggle to face some of those things, as they can bring up painful memories that can sometimes put tears in your eyes, or in my eyes since I’ve been through so many difficult situations.

But, since I have been into a spiritual lifestyle for the past 25 years, I am a practicing metaphysical spiritualist, and I’ve learned the importance of letting go of the past and embracing the present moment. We must release the old to make space for the new, and this can be a very difficult process. But it is necessary for growth and healing.

Okay, so let’s dive in a bit deeper into some of the ways we can release our past and move towards new opportunities. One of the effective methods I’ve found is releasing the past through meditation. Meditation allows us to connect with our inner selves and release any negative emotions or thoughts that’s holding us back. During meditation, we can focus on affirmations and visualization techniques to help us let go of the past and embrace the present moment.

Another moment is to release the past by practicing forgiveness. Holding on to grudges and resentments can weigh us down and prevent us from moving forward. So forgiving ourselves and others for past mistakes can help us release the negative emotions that’s associated with those experiences, and it opens us up to new opportunities for growth and healing.

I know for myself this can be quite a struggle, so I encourage everybody to start journaling. That can also be a helpful tool to release the past! Writing down our thoughts and feelings can help us process our emotions, gain clarity on our experiences. It can also serve as a reminder of the progress we’ve made and the lessons we’ve learned along the way.

And finally, it’s so important to keep laughter and love in our hearts as we embark on this new path. Laughter can help us let go of stress and anxiety, while love can bring us joy and peace. We can cultivate these positive emotions by spending time with loved ones, engaging in activities that bring us joy, and practicing self-care.

And to release the past is to acknowledge the lessons learned and appreciate the growth that came from those experiences. Reflect on the positive things that have come from our past, and let go of any negative emotions or regrets that’s holding you back.

I know that this process can be very challenging, but it’s worth it in the end. So remember to approach these new opportunities with perseverance, patience, and self-compassion. And also with an open mind and heart, and keep laughter and love in your heart as you journey towards a more fulfilling life.
