This podcast is about entrepreneurship, spirituality, and self-care. My name is Lourdes, and I am the host of this show. Thank you for listening today!

We all know that negative energy can affect our mental and emotional well-being, and sometimes it can stem from the environment we live in. Did you know that our homes can become a breeding ground for negative energy due to various reasons such as accumulated clutter, stagnant air, previous occupants emotional baggage? The good news is that there are ways to remove negative energy from our home, and I’m going to explore those today.

So first and foremost is to de-clutter your space. Did you know that clutter can lead to feelings of anxiety, stress, and overwhelm, which can all contribute to negative energy? De-cluttering your space is one of the most effective ways to remove negative energy from our homes. So let’s start by going through each room and getting rid of items that you no longer need or use. You can donate, recycle, or throw away anything that you no longer need or serves a purpose. Does it make you feel good, or does it just bring bad vibes? Get rid of it. So this process will not only clear your physical clutter, but can also create space for positive energy to flow through.

The next way is smudging. Have you heard of smudging before? Well, smudging is an ancient practice that involves burning sage, Palo Santo, or other herbs to clear negative energy from a space. Sage you can get at metaphysical stores throughout the world, and it just looks like a bunch of long 3-4 inch leaves bunched together, and that is sold as sage. And then Palo Santo looks like thin pieces of wood about the thickness of your finger maybe, and some of them are about 3-4 inches long. And what you would do is you would burn that little piece of wood, and I heard it smells really good. I just bought some the other day, I haven’t used it yet! You burn the end, and when it burns blow out the fire and the wood is still on, and just walk around with the smoke. And that smells up the house really nice, as well as clears the space.

So when you’re smudging, the smoke from the burning herbs or the Palo Santo helps absorb the negative energy and release it from the space. So to smudge your home, light the herbs and let the smoke fill each room, paying extra attention to corners, doorways, and windows. And please be very careful with fire. With Palo Santo, because it is a piece of wood, once I’m done with that I usually take some water and a cup and soak it in there for a little bit to make sure that it’s completely out. Please practice fire safety.

Okay, using crystals. Crystals are natural energy amplifiers that can absorb and transmute negative energy into a positive energy. Some of the best crystals for removing negative energy include black tourmaline, clear quartz, and amethyst. You can place these crystals in different parts of your home such as corners of a room, windowsills, or by your bedside table. And I’m sure you’ve heard of salt, right? Salt has been used for centuries as a purifying agent. Sprinkling salt in the corners of a room or your doorstep is believed to absorb negative energy and protect your home from any further negativity. You can also mix salt with water and use it to mop your floors or wipe down surfaces. Strange, I would never do that, but I’ve heard people doing that.

Plants! Yes, like house plants. They are a natural air purifier and can help remove negative energy from your home. Some of the best plants for this purpose include snake plants, peace lilies, and bamboo. You know the bamboos that you see in ancient stores? They’re pretty cool looking, and they grow in water. So these plants not only clean the air, but also create a calming environment that promotes positivity.

And last, sound healing. Sound healing involves using sound waves to balance the energy in a space. You can use chimes, singing bowls, or even playing calming music to create a harmonious atmosphere throughout your home. The sound vibrations help release negative energy, and it promotes a positive flow.

Now you know that by removing negative energy from your home is important to promote positivity and create a harmonious environment throughout your home by de-cluttering your space, smudging, using crystals, salt, plants, and sound healing, you can effectively clear any negative energy and create a welcoming home filled with positivity. Remember to practice these methods regularly to maintain the positive energy in your home!
