Hi, and today I’m going to talk about dealing with grief during the holiday season and ways to cope with that, and perhaps seeking the help of a medium to bring comfort. It is challenging to deal with grief during the holiday season, and these terms are also associated with family togetherness and celebration, while everybody grieves differently, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

 

Here are some suggestions on how to cope with the loss and how working with the medium may provide some comfort. So let’s first acknowledge the feeling. It’s important to recognize and accept your emotions. Allow yourself to feel sadness, grief, and any other emotions that might arise.

 

It’s normal to miss a loved one, especially during special occasions. So how about if you create new traditions? Like considering establishing a new tradition for the holidays or adapting new existing ones. This can help create a sense of continuity while acknowledging the changes in your life.

 

It’s a way to honor your loved one’s memory while finding new sources of joy. Share some stories and memories of your loved ones with friends and family. Celebrate the positive impact that they had in your life. Talking about them can be a therapeutic way to keep their spirits alive in your heart.

 

You might also want to seek help with supportive friends, family, or a support group. Sharing your feelings with others who understand and can provide comfort can alleviate feelings of isolation.

 

And also, don’t forget about self-care. Take care of your physical and emotional well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy, relaxation, and a sense of peace. This could include exercise, meditation, and spending some time outdoors.

 

Do you think you might need professional help? If you find it challenging to cope with your grief, consider seeking help from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor. They can provide guidance and support during these difficult times.

 

And are you a believer of the afterlife? Do you believe that our soul lives on, that the spirit lives on, that once the body dies, they just simply transition to the other side? If so, how can a medium help with grief?

 

So first, let’s figure out why are your reasons to seek a medium and be clear about your expectations. Some people find comfort and closure through this experience, and for some, it might not resonate with them.

 

But for those of you that believe that our loved ones are still around us and are very much alive, if you have this belief that we all continue to live on, and perhaps maybe our loved ones are in another dimension, you may feel comfort by seeking a medium to help connect you with your loved ones from behind the veil. You may get messages through this difficult time and can help alleviate any sadness or grief.

 

If you do choose to consult with a medium, do thorough research to find a reputable and experienced one. Seek recommendations from people you trust or read reviews to ensure that the medium is trustworthy and has a positive track record. Ask your friends for referrals or read client reviews.

But be realistic and be open-minded about the expectations of the mediumship and recognize that experiences can vary.

 

And some spirits show up because they have important messages to convey. So, therefore, don’t rely on any specific spirits you may be expecting, as there is no guarantee that a spirit you want to speak to will show up at that session.

 

Maybe at another session, but there is no guarantee a specific spirit will show up. It does happen, but not all the time. Okay, mediumship can be a tool, among many other ways, to cope with grief. It’s important to combine these strategies, such as counseling, support groups, and self-care practices.

 

Remember that everyone’s grief journey is unique, and there is no right way or wrong way to navigate around it. It’s essential to find what works best for you and to be patient with yourself as you go through this healing process.

 

So, I bid you well for the holiday season. Remember, grieving comes in and out of our lives. However, it is sometimes hard to deal with during the holiday season, especially if it’s your first Christmas or Thanksgiving or Easter without your loved one.
