Hi, and welcome! And in today’s episode, we’re going to talk about how to listen and trust your intuition.

So first, let me begin with defining what I mean by intuition. Intuition is a gut feeling, a hunch, or a sense of knowing that comes from within us. It’s like an inner voice that guides us towards what is right for us. Sometimes it can be very difficult to trust our intuition, especially when we’re faced with difficult decisions. But when we trust our intuition, it can lead to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

So, how can we listen to our intuition and trust it more? And that would be by taking the first step, and that first step is to create space for your intuition to come through. This means taking a break from the constant noise and distraction around us. I know that’s hard to do today, but it can be challenging to hear our intuition when we are constantly busy or stressed. We need to create a space for our intuition to come through, and that requires some stillness.

So, try to set a time every day to sit quietly. And even if it’s just for a few minutes, this can help. You can meditate, take a walk in nature, or simply just sit quietly and focus on your breath. Creating space for your intuition to come through will help you connect with your inner voice.

Another way is to pay attention to your body. Our bodies are often a great source of intuition. When we’re faced with a decision or a situation, our bodies can give us clues about what is right for us. So pay attention! Pay attention to any physical sensations you may feel. Do you feel tense? Or relaxed? Does your stomach feel tight or uneasy? These physical sensations can be a sign of what your intuition is trying to tell you.

And so, that leads me to trust your first instinct. When faced with a decision, try to listen to your first instinct first. If it doesn’t make logical sense, our intuition can be very powerful, and it often knows what’s best for us. Trusting our first instinct or gut feeling can help pus make decisions that align with our true selves.

So when you get that gut feeling, for example, if you’re driving and you got lost and you want to look for a turn to maybe make a U-turn or go around the block, but your feeling, something’s telling you inside not to turn down that street, that’s a gut feeling and your first instinct. Do not turn down that street! And that’s a perfect example of listening to your first instinct or gut feeling.

Alright, moving on. Let’s do a reflect and learn from past experiences. So, reflecting on past experiences can help us learn to trust our intuition even more. Think about the times when you ignored your intuition, and how that turned out. On the other hand, think about the times when you trusted your intuition and how that led to a positive outcome. Reflecting on these experiences can help us learn to trust our intuition more. And if your journal, like I do, write in your diary and reflect on your day about what went wrong or what went well, this will help you learn from those past experiences.

And lastly, like any other skill, listening to our intuition and trusting it takes practice. Start small by listening to your intuition in everyday situations, such as what to eat for dinner or which route to take to work. As you begin to become more comfortable with listening to your own intuition, you can start to trust it in bigger decisions.

And that’s it for today’s episode on how to listen to your intuition and trust it. I hope that these tips have been helpful in guiding you towards connecting with your intuition. Remember, trusting your intuition can lead to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

Thank you for listening, and until next time, take care!
