[Music intro]
This podcast is about entrepreneurship, spirituality, and self-care. My name is Lourdes, and I am the host of this show. Thank you for listening today!
What exactly is a webinar manager, and a webinar producer? A webinar manager is responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects. So it’s from registration and marketing to attendee followup. A webinar manager is also responsible for choosing the right platform for the webinar, setting up the event, and managing the technology part of it.
Alright so, a webinar producer focuses more on the content and the delivery of the webinar. They work closely with the presenter to ensure the material is engaging and effective, and also help with creating the visuals and selecting music, other sound effects, and managing the flow of the webinar.
So you’re probably wondering, when do you hire a webinar manager versus a webinar producer? So let’s say you’re hosting a webinar for a very large audience, and then you need someone to manage the registration and ensure seamless user experience, as well as following up with the attendees after the event. In this case, a webinar manager would be the ideal choice.
But on the other hand, if you’re looking to create an engaging and informative webinar that captures your audience’s attention, a webinar producer would be a better fit. They can help with crafting the messages, developing visuals that support the message, and making sure that your webinar is deliver in a way that resonates or relates to your audience.
Some of you may know that I’m a webinar specialist, and I also do podcasts so I’m a podcast specialist, and producer for webinar and podcasts. Someone sent me a message and asked me if you should hire both a webinar manager and a webinar producer, and here’s my answer: Absolutely! So if you’re hosting a large webinar, it’s essential to have both a webinar manager and a producer on your team. This makes sure that all the aspects of the event are taken care of. It also will also give the clients peace of mind and allow them to focus on delivering the best possible experience for their audience.
So to end this very quick podcast, I would like to add that it’s important to understand the roles of a webinar manager and a producer to make sure that you’re hiring the right person for the job. By doing this, you’ll be setting yourself up for success and providing your audience with the webinar experience that they will remember.
And join me next week, when I talk about captivating your audience! And if you have any questions at all on webinar production or podcast production, send me a message and ask any questions, and I’ll be happy to answer them for you! Until next time, have a wonderful week!
